Meet Dr. Beale
Dr. Beale began life in Chicago, Illinois, but he decided to pursue his undergraduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. After graduating, he decided to follow his dreams of becoming a dentist by attending the Medical College of Virginia dental school, where he earned his DDS degree and graduated with honors.
To continue his studies, Dr. Beale decided to enter a general practice residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania located in Philadelphia.
After gaining much practical experience, he then practiced general dentistry in Tidewater for three years. However, this field wasn’t quite the one for him, so he went back to the books to work toward becoming an oral surgeon.
Dr. Beale was selected for an internship and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, after which, he became board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. In fact, he’s been practicing as an oral surgeon in the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake areas since 1989.
Along the way, Dr. Beale has collected numerous professional memberships and accolades, some of which include:
- Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology
- Member of the Southeast Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Member of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Foundation
In his spare time, Dr. Beale loves spending time with his family. He’s been married to his wife since 1982, and they have two children, Jack and Danielle. His other hobbies include boating, water skiing, and golfing.
