As dental care providers, we are required to obtain 30 hours of continuing medical education credits every two years to maintain our license. This holds true for dentist, hygienists and selected certified dental assistants.
In an effort to make it easier to obtain these credits, we have initiated a lecture series where we will come to your office for lecture presentation. The presentations can be done early in the morning, lunch time, in the late afternoon or in the evening after working hours.
There is no charge for the lecture(s) and the subject matter can include any one of the following:
- Medical Emergencies in the Dental Office
- Review in Oral Pathology
- Sedation Techniques for General Dentistry
- Implant Dentistry
- Pre-prosthetic Surgical Techniques
- Oral Surgery for the General Dentist
Each lecture qualifies for 1-2 hours of credit and is sanctioned by the Academy of General Dentists. We usually start with the Medical Emergency lecture and make future arrangements based on interest.
If you are interested in scheduling one or more of these lectures, you may contact our office and ask for Shana or Sherry. Arrangements can be made at your convenience. We are looking forward to hearing from you in the future.
